Shawn + Sarah {Wedding Part 1 Southeastern Kansas Photographer}

I am about to bombard you with a LOT of pictures.  So prepare yourself.  I have this problem with making decisions.  Basically, I can't.  So, usually when I proof your pictures or in this case write a blog...I can't seem to sift through the pictures and only choose a few.  That results in way too many pictures...but hey! That means I took pictures at a really awesome wedding, so awesome I couldn't choose just a few pictures, and you get to see them too! (I also have a problem with rambling...)

Here is part 1 of Shawn and Sarah's wedding.  It's hard to choose, but I'll say one word that sums up their day is beautiful.  It was a beautiful wedding at a beautiful home with a beautiful family on a beautiful day.  Seriously. Beautiful.

Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we? I have known Sarah for probably 5 years.  We worked together in the Career Services office at Pitt. I followed her all the way from the parking lot to our office on my first day.  I'm sure she was creeped out by me when we were about halfway, but she was nice enough to not say anything.  Sarah and I have shared many, many inside jokes over the years. My boyfriend Cosmo, Blue Mouse and Skidrow - over and out, crusty mouth corners, pen borrowers, Climax Springs (which IS a town in Missouri, fyi.)...just to name a few. Anything to make a work day go faster, right?  (I met so many awesome people in that office (Shout out to Career Services, holla!)  We were also pregnant at the same time!  You can't get much closer than texting each other your pregnancy woes. So you can imagine how honored I was when Sarah asked me to take pictures at her wedding.  I have so many memories with her, a great person and friend, and now I get to share one of the most important days of her life too? Awesome.

Sarah and Shawn - You are both wonderful people. You have a beautiful family. I wish you so much happiness and so many blessings.  Thank you for letting us be a part of the beginning of what is going to be an amazing life.

Onward to pictures! What you've been waiting for!
