Help if you can?

Hi.  It's been a while.  A really long while.  Sorry. :) Forgive me?

So, if you look up, you'll see that I added a banner that links to the Convoy of Hope page where you can donate money to Joplin to help the survivors.  It doesn't have to be $1,000 or even $100 that they have listed there...anything at all is a help.  Whether it's $50 or $10.  We have driven through several times to survey the damage (Unfortunately I have not volunteered, because I have someone that needs me all day, too).  This is something you will never in your life see...or want to see...unless, Heaven forbid, it happens in your neck of the woods.  This tornado not has effected the people of Joplin, but the surrounding towns that depend on Joplin for jobs, food, shopping, doctors, ect.  It's a city of 50,000 but it increases in the day to about 200,000.  If this tornado had come at noon on Wednesday instead of 5:41 pm on Sunday the number of deaths would have been much greater.  If the high school would have decided to have the graduation at the high school instead of the college, it would also had been greater.    If we had decided to go shopping that day/evening, we wouldn't be here either....so many things to think about. God was with many and still is.

Here are just some of the many photos out there of damage taken by a resident of Joplin:
You can find so many more by Googling.

If you cannot donate money to the Convoy of Hope or Red Cross, then please at least post on your blog/website/facebook ways your followers can help Joplin.

Here is another link that gives various ways to help Joplin: Ozarks First: Help Joplin (I think most are towards the bottom of the page, but it gives different places you can send texts to donate as well as different websites) Here is another: Rebuild Joplin

Here are a few places that are selling shirts:

Please, if you can, help!  If you've seen these stories on TV, they give no justice to the amount of damage that Joplin has undergone.  There are so many families without homes that it's hard to fathom and many, many businesses are also gone, as well as the hospital and doctors offices that served many. The damage is indescribable.

Thanks for reading.  Please repost some links or help if you can. :)

P.S. I hope you're all having a good beginning of summer.  Sorry that I'm so MIA.  I will try to do better soon! (Except it's close to time that J is out of school and summertime, so that's actually probably a lie.  If you want my Twitter or Facebook to keep in touch with me, they are linked on the right. That's the best way to keep up with things dealing with all things me, probably. :) )
